Having just arrived home from a 21st which included a 1m x 1m pizza, daytona car racing machine and a DJ with the full decks set up I am admittedly fairly stoked on life. Luckily for all of you...im a sharer and what i have to share with you at this point in time is a great song i heard. It is probably not new, NOVA has probably already molested it. But i don't listen to radio so my ears remain untarnished. I speak of La Roux - In For The Kill, particularly the Skream remix. I am a sucker for a sexy songstress. It all started around the age of 16 when i first heard The Distillers. Brody Dalle remains to this day the hottest punk i have ever seen. That husky voice and swaying swagger does things for me. Lately i have been finding myself feeling emotions that exceed those of pure plutonic joy for such women as Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs's and now for young Elly Jackson of La Roux. So heres to the lovely ladies of the music industry. Britters? Beyonce? Mariah? Nahhhhh, show me a real woman.
